eCOI is the electronic conflict of interest disclosure system for the University of Iowa. This system satisfies the disclosure requirements of university conflict of interest policies and federal regulations.

The mandatory certification period is January 1st through April 30th of each year (to coincide with tax season). The system is open and available for users to submit new conflicts of interest as they arise throughout the year.

When logging into eCOI, users will need to use their HawkIDs and passwords.

University of Iowa faculty, staff and students engaged in research are required to update financial interest disclosures within 30 days of any changes.
